Mill Springs Academy gives students summer of opportunity with mark trail camp

ALPHARETTA, Ga. (March 16, 2006) – This summer, youth are invited to attend the Mark Trail Camp at Mill Springs Academy, located at 13660 New Providence Road in Alpharetta, Ga.

The Camp is divided into six week-long sessions, with different activities planned for each session, making each week a new experience for campers ages 6 to 14. To enroll or for more information, call William Turner, camp director, at 770-360-1336 or at wturner@millsprings.org.

Campers can participate in team sports, gym games, outdoor adventures, painting and swimming. All activities are coordinated to encourage values and social skills, while enjoying the outdoors and learning basic compass and survival skills. Additionally, a variety of field trips will be offered, including excursions to Stone Mountain, the Georgia Aquarium and a tubing trip down the Chattahoochee River in Helen, Ga.

The following sessions are available:

June 12-16

June 19-23

June 26-30

July 3, 5-7

July 10-14

July 17-21

Camp hours are from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Half-day sessions are also available with the option of attending from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. or from 12 p.m. – 4 pm. Carpools are available in the East Cobb and Sandy Springs areas. Costs are $325 per one-week session, $900 for any three weeks and $1750 for all six weeks. Half-day sessions are $175 per week.
