National Dance Week Celebration

Alpharetta, GA…The United Dance Merchants of America has designated April 21-30, 2006 as “National Dance Week” in a nationwide effort to heighten public awareness of the vital role that dance activities play in improving the quality of life and fitness of people of all ages.
The Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department and their Rhythm n’ Shoes dance program will host the 2nd Annual National Dance Week Celebration on Friday, April 21 at the Alpharetta Community Center, 175 Roswell Street from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm.
Bring your entire family to this dance celebration! Festivities include hula hoop station, parachute, arts & crafts projects, refreshments, dancing and many more activities for the entire family. Their will also be special performances by some the Rhythm n’ Shoes dance classes from 5:30 pm-6:00 pm.
