October 19, 2006—Roswell, GA—That Dirty Dog™, an original pet wash and high-end retail pet establishment, will present the 1st Annual Howl River on Sunday, October 22, 2006 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm held at Riverside Park in Roswell. This pet-centered event will be fun for the entire family (yes, all dogs are invited as long as they are leashed), and will also raise funds and awareness of the ongoing needs of the Noah’s Ark Animal Rehabilitation Center.

There will be plenty of food, music and activities planned in the beautiful park setting.
The day’s agenda includes:
1:00 - 1:30 Registration/Music/Announcements
1:30 - 2:00 Demonstration by the Greater Atlanta Dog and Disc Club
2:15 - 2:45 Angie Woods, the Atlanta Dog Whisperer
3:00 - 3:45 “Howl-oween” Costume Contest – pets parade and compete
4:00 - 4:30 CPT Training Demo
4:30 - 5:00 “Tricks and Treats” Contest – pets compete with their tricks
Sponsors of the event include: Toyota of Roswell, Harry’s, Outback Steakhouse, Canine
Caviar, Atlanta Animal Allergy and Dermatology, Fast Signs, American Haircuts, and
That Dirty Dog™. Event is Free for those that want to be spectators. $15 minimum
donation for those who want to register their dogs in the Competitions (they will also
receive a goody bag), $20 minimum donation gets all your family dogs registered,
receive a goody bag plus an event t-shirt. Schedules are subject to change.

The event will take place at Riverside Park is located at 575 Riverside Dr, Roswell, Georgia 30075. Note: All pets must be on a leash as this is a city managed park.
That Dirty Dog™ is the inspiration of local founders Mimi Darr and Kathy Sanek who, along with their dogs, dreaded the much needed bath. They opened their doors for business in July 2005. Noah’s Ark Animal Rehabilitation Center’s is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to bring children and animals together for the purpose of providing unconditional love, unconditional service and a future of hope. They provide loving homes for abused, unwanted, and orphaned animals. Noah's Ark is not a zoo or humane society but a place dedicated to the care and treatment of wildlife, domestic livestock, exotic animals, and birds. Presently, Noah's Ark has about 800 permanent "residents." Thousands of school children participate in their educational program each year, and they also provide Pet Therapy.
