Volunteers Still Needed for Hands On Atlanta Day on Saturday, October 7

WHAT:
On Saturday, October 7, an estimated 17,000 volunteers will come together, with Hands On Atlanta and Presenting Sponsor Accenture, for a day of community building and volunteer service. Additional volunteers are still needed to ensure this day is a success!

 

WHO:
Adults and youth who wish to make a difference in their community.

 

WHEN/WHERE:
Saturday, October 7, 2006

 



More than 200 projects in 15 Metro Atlanta counties.

Volunteer projects will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Following the projects, volunteers are invited to attend the Celebration of Service at Centennial Olympic Park from 12 to 3 p.m. for live entertainment, refreshments and more.
