Roswell, Georgia has been picked as one of the best places to raise a family, according to a newly released "best places" book.

Some City officials and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce celebrated the achievement of being named the third best place in the United States of America to raise your family.
Roswell Mayor Jere Wood, a lifelong resident of the City of Roswell remarked that his goal was “to make Roswell the best place to live in metro Atlanta”. He said that because Roswell received this distinctive honor in the greatest nation in the world, it also “makes Roswell the best place to live in the Galaxy”.
The mayor, along with the city counsel had great appreciation for all of those that have help to make Roswell what it is today. They thanked former mayors, counsel members for setting the foundation for this achievement and of course the residence of Roswell for their support.
