Fulton County to Hold Public Meeting to Discuss Construction of the Johns Creek Environmental Campus

The Fulton County Department of Public Works will hold a public meeting on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 7 p.m. to discuss planned improvement to the wastewater system in the Johns Creek Watershed Area. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the East Roswell Recreation Center at 9000 Fouts Road in Roswell.

The purpose of the public meeting is to:

 

  • Inform the public of the planned construction of the Johns Creek Environmental Campus (JCEC) as well as improvements to the County’s wastewater system in the Johns Creek watershed area;
  • Comply with Section 392-3-6-.2 of Georgia’s Water Quality Control Rules (and amendments thereto); and
  • Encourage public involvement in the development of a plan to improve the wastewater system.

 

Citizens will have the opportunity to view the Environmental Information Document (EID), which is the major planning document covering the proposed wastewater system.

 

Copies of the EID will be available for review at the following locations:
