Mayor Jere Wood says he will consider seeking a ballot referendum on annexing Newtown unless the General Assembly finds a way to let those residents choose between annexation and incorporation into the proposed city of Johns Creek.

Rhonda Wilson, a computer repair specialist who lives in the Rivermont subdivision in the Johns Creek area of north Fulton, said she has been studying the Sandy Springs startup because it will influence how and whether her community incorporates.
