The Department of Public Works Water Services Division will conduct two public meetings on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 7 p.m. at the South Fulton Service Center, 5600 Stonewall Tell Road in College Park and Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 7 p.m. at Milton High School, 13025 Birmingham Highway in Alpharetta. The May 25, meeting will be held as part of the public meeting to introduce the Alpharetta Water Main Replacement Project – Phase I.
Representative from Public Works will explain the changes that are planned to go before the Board of Commissioners. These proposed changes will affect new development throughout the County. The following topics will be covered:
§ Modifications to Articles 3 (Sewers and Sewage Disposal) and 4 (Sewer Use) of the Fulton County Sewer Use Ordinance;
§ Design and Construction of Non-Potable Reuse Water Lines;
§ Updates to Fulton County’s Standard Set of Plans for water, transportation, storm water, sewer, and erosion control;
§ Updates for Fulton County’s Standards and Specifications for Water Main Construction;
§ Updates for Fulton County’s Standards and Specifications for Sewer Main Construction;
§ Modifications of water and sewer sections of the 2003 Subdivision Regulations; and
§ Modifications of water and sewer sections of the Zoning and Development Ordinances
