1. Approval of September 18, 2006 Regular Meeting Minutes. Administration

 

 

Recreation and Parks - Councilman Terry Joyner

1. Recognition of Youth Officials for Recreation and Parks Department.

2. Recognition of Girls Gymnastic State Champions.

3. Recognition of members of the Roswell Rapids Swim Team State Champions.

4. Approval of a Resolution to Accept a FY 2006 Transportation Enhancement (TE) grant award of $800,000.00 in Federal Funds for a Multi-Use Trail Connection Project. The TE funding requires a 20% local match (or $160,000.00). Approval of Budget Amendment BA6220G1-10-02-06 to appropriate $800,000 to Cost Center 6220G1, Account 541210 and Project 05REC004.

5. Approval to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with Fulton County on Old Riverside Road to establish a canoe/kayak put-in take-out point at this location.

6. Approval of an Ordinance to Annex Kings Grant Subdivision. (First Reading)

7. Approval of an Ordinance to Annex Old Surrey Place Subdivision. (First Reading)

Transportation - Councilwoman Paula Winiski

9. Approval of a Resolution to support the submittal of a project to the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) for inclusion in the 2008-2013 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) as follows: Preparation of a traffic modeling study for needed improvements at the Georgia Highway 400 and Holcomb Bridge Road intersection.

Community Development - Councilman Jerry Orlans

10. Approval of a Resolution amending the City of Roswell Construction Standards.

11. Approval of a Resolution amending the City of Roswell Standard Construction specifications at Chapter 2, Section 2.1.3 to include revised Bike Lane Specifications.

Public Safety - Councilman David Tolleson

12. Approval of an Ordinance to Amend the Code of Ordinances of the City of Roswell regarding Vehicles for Hire. (Second Reading)

13. Approval of a Resolution to Adjust Regulatory Fees for Vehicles for Hire Operating within the City of Roswell.

City Attorney's Report

14. Recommendation for Closure to discuss personnel.
