The City of Roswell will mirror Fulton County’s watering restrictions as of Friday, June 16, 2006. The new restrictions are in response to depleted water levels in storage reservoirs. We are taking this action to ensure that water is available for our customers during daily peak periods.
The new watering restrictions are as follows:
· Even addresses and un-numbered addresses may water on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday before 5 a.m. and after 8 p.m.
· Odd numbered addresses may water on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday before 5 a.m. and after 8 p.m.
· No outdoor watering is permitted on Friday
· Permits for special watering conditions may be obtained from the City’s Water Department by calling 770-641-3715.
· Irrigation water from lakes, streams, or wells must adhere to the above watering schedule. Air conditioning condensate water or cistern water may be used at any time.
These watering restrictions are effective for all residents in the City of Roswell. Violation of the restrictions could result in a citation and up to a $1,000 fine. Residents with questions regarding these watering restrictions may call the Water Division at 770-641-3715.
