Alpharetta Fire and Emergency Services Announces New Fee Schedule

Alpharetta, GA… The Alpharetta Fire and Emergency Services announces a new fee schedule that is effective July 1, 2006. The change in fees comes after the Mayor and City Council passed a Resolution June 19th, 2006 to revise the city’s Code of Ordinance Chapter 9, Article II. The new fee schedule is to help cover staff costs and to deter non-compliance to city codes.

Below are the fees effective July 1, 2006

Annual Fire inspection of existing buildings:

• First inspection No charge
• First re-inspection $ 75.00
• All subsequent re-inspection $ 100.00

New Construction

• 80% completion inspection Included in building permit
• 100% completion inspection Included in building permit
• First re-inspection $ 75.00
• All subsequent re-inspection $ 100.00
• Fire Lane Violations $ 100.00
• Handicap Parking $ 250.00
• Prohibited parking and overtime parking $ 25.00
• Temporary Certificate of Occupancy $ 100.00
• Special use permits $ 100.00
• Blasting permits $ 150.00
• Hydrant flow test $ 75.00
• Fire Sprinkler permits $ .50 per head

($ 50.00 minimum permit)
