Forsyth County Responds to Request for Help

At Thursday evening's Board of Commissioners meeting, the county delivered a positive response to a request for assistance in New Orleans.

The county authorized six members of the Forsyth County Fire Department, along with their necessary equipment and a Zodiac boat, to depart, by motor vehicle, for New Orleans within the next 72 hours to help combat the fires raging throughout the city and to assist in search and recovery operations.
