Ga 400 Lane Closures

The GA DOT plans to close 1 lane on GA 400 North, near McFarland over the next few days for construction as follows:
1 of 2 lanes closed from 9:00 PM today to 5:00 AM tomorrow
1 of 2 lanes closed from 9:00 PM tomorrow to 5:00 AM Saturday Dec-18
1 of 2 lanes closed from 9:00 PM Saturday Dec-18 to 5:00 AM Sunday Dec-19
1 of 2 lanes closed from 9:00 PM Sunday Dec-19 to 5:00 AM Monday Dec-20

Camera images are not available at this time. On Dec 1st, the fiber optic cable was cut by the contractors working on the shoulders of GA 400. This has brought all cameras and signs offline on GA 400. The damage is very extensive and repairs will involve splicing fiber in many places. At this time, WE DO NOT HAVE AN ESTIMATE of when GA 400 coverage will be back online. As repairs progress, we will post updated information.
