Hurricane Relief Donations Needed!

With close ties to Central Florida, Amanda and I feel deeply for the pending destruction that Hurricane Frances will surely bring. We are currently spearheading an effort to deliver relief to the people that will be hit by the approaching storm.

If we can assemble supplies and money before the effort is needed, we can deliver relief more quickly once the storm has passed! Please take donations of money, paper goods, personal care products, food, clothing, towels, etc. to Parkway Presbyterian Church in Cumming (exit 13 N cross hwy 9 and church is on Bethelview approx. 1 mile north of GA 400). You can also bring supplies to our restaurant and we will transport them to the appropriate area. One of God's greatest plans in the design of creation is for mankind to care for one another.

Please do everything that you can to provide supplies to those who are in desperate need in Florida! The needs will grow exponentially once this storm has passed. Every roll of papertowels and every $10 will reach someone who is praying for help! Do you realize that Hardee County (in Central FL) is STILL without power from the storm 3 weeks ago? Imagine going through another category 4 storm without a roof on your home and without electricity! For those who have never been in a hurricane, it is like a 4 to 6 hour long tornado.

Call me if you have any questions or if you have manpower, money, or special gifts to provide to the effort! Survival equipment like chain saws, camping stoves, and propane canisters are also in HEAVY demand!!! This may be a good time to clear out your old yard equipment that you don't use anymore!!!
