I have received numerous emails from various Neighborhood Watch Liaison’s requesting information on two separate incidents which occurred in Fulton County involving a suspicious vehicle. I contacted Lt. White from the Fulton County Police Department, and he provided me with the official (fact based) information that they have released. Keep in mind that these incidents occurred in an area of Fulton County South of the North Point Mall, and just North of I-285. The information is as follows:
FULTON COUNTY POLICE BOLO
On 9/14/06 a field contact information report was made by officers indicating that while two children were at the pool located at 3620 River Ferry Dr. (River Glenn Subdivision) two white males in a white van attempted to give the children candy. They did not make any attempts to grab or detain the children or place them into the van. This occurred at 1830 hrs. The mother was at the pool at the time. The children did not mention the incident until later on in the evening at dinner. When officers received info and responded subjects was gone.
On 9/27/06 at 0800 hours on Hepplewhite Drive and Jacobean entry the above described van stopped at a school bus and offered candy to another child. The child ran in the house. (Glastonberry Subdivision)
