New Fire Ordinance passed

Last night, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners passed an updated fire ordinance. The new ordiance strengthens inspections and building standards for commercial and multi-family dwellings, and will help to improve safety. The new ordinance does not affect single family homes.

The ordiance will go into effect October 1st, 2005
