Jeremy Bryan Jones was sentenced to death Thursday for the rape and murder of Lisa Marie Nichols, a homicide that led authorities to charge him with three other killings including Forsyth County Hairdresser Patrice Endres.

Circuit Judge Charles Graddick called Jones "a danger to civilized society" and sentenced him to die by lethal injection.

Jones may still face prosecution in Georgia and New Orleans, and is linked to as many as 10 other deaths.
