The Family Haven is excited to announce the opening of an upscale Children’s Bargain Boutique on Browns Bridge Road. An official ribbon cutting will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 14th, to celebrate the grand opening of this exciting new store.

At last, parents will be able to afford fashionable, quality clothes -- sizes zero to twelve -- for their children. The Family Haven Boutique is designed to emphasize quality, value, comfort and commitment to the local community, while at the same time using ALL proceeds from the store to help the children who are cared for in the shelter. Sadly, our children are the innocent victims of domestic violence.

The Children’s Bargain Boutique will feature our new adoption program. Kids -- and parents, too -- can adopt a stuffed animal from the “Purple Heart Pound,” located within the store, for just $5. With every adopted animal, there will be a postcard available to color and mail to Family Haven that will be shared with a child in the shelter. All kids love to get mail, and this project is certain to put a smile on a child’s face and give Family Haven “special” funds to use directly for that child.

We all look forward to welcoming you to the Family Haven Children's Bargain Boutique soon. For additional information, kindly call Marjorie at (770) 889-3398 or (770) 597-8779.
