December 5, 2006 is Run-off Election Day in Georgia

On December 5th, your vote will truly count! Run-off elections are known for their light voter turnout, and the candidates who have worked diligently through the 2006 election cycle deserve our respect. We will show this respect by making the patriotic effort to return to our polling location on Tuesday and casting our votes.

I offer my endorsement of the following candidates, whom I have the honor to know personally, have worked with them, and respect and admire their qualifications, leadership and integrity. I encourage you to learn more about these candidates in the next few days, and make informed choices on December 5th. In the Georgia Statewide Election for Public Service Commission, I encourage you to support Chuck Eaton. In the City of Johns Creek, GA City Council races, I support the election of Dan McCabe for Post 2, and Ivan Figueroa for Post 4.

City of Johns Creek Town Hall Meeting – Thursday, December 7, 2006 – 7:30 PM

Mayor Mike Bodker has announced a Special Town Hall meeting to be held on Thursday, December 7, 2006, at 7:30 p.m. at Chattahoochee High School on Taylor Road. Mayor Bodker will discuss and address the concerns of the community in regards to the operation in violation of law of the Love Shack on State Bridge Road.

Please plan to attend this important community gathering to hear the facts of the matter. It is important for North Fulton residents to join with members of their community in a visible display of public sentiment against businesses that willfully violate the law and defy public opinion.

Carpooling is encouraged. For additional information, please contact Rosemary Taylor, City of Johns Creek Communications Manager, at rosemary.taylor@cityofjohnscreekga.us or 678-512-3271.
