WHO:
Dr. Randal Pinkett, winner of Donald Trump's Apprentice on NBC headlines the Annual Meeting of the Atlanta Business League. One lucky Atlanta Business League business member will win a one year lease on a Dodge Caliber.
Dr. Randal Pinkett has established himself as a scholar, entrepreneur and leader. He is currently the Chairman and CEO of BCT Partners, a multimillion dollar consulting firm based in Newark, NJ, that specializes in the areas of information technology, strategic planning, and organizational development. Dr. Pinkett holds five degrees including; a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Oxford in England; and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering, MBA, and Ph.D. from MIT. Most notably, he was the first African-American to be named a Rhodes Scholar at Rutgers University and was Season 4 winner on NBC’s hit reality television show, “The Apprentice”.
WHAT:
The Atlanta Business League's Annual Meeting closes out the 2006 program year with John Kelley as Chair.
New officers of the board and directors at large will be elected for 2007 and Kelley will present a year-end review of his administration. The ABL Partners in Economic Development will be recognized for their commitment to the agenda of the organization. The Partners include AGL Resources, AirTran Airways, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Life Financial Group, Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Bank of America, Citizens Trust Bank, Coca-Cola Company, Georgia Power, Hartsfieild-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and United Parcel Service.
The evening will begin with a reception at 5 p.m. sponsored by Safeco Insurance Company followed by the dinner and program at 6 p.m.
