Roswell, GA (December 15, 2006)-The Fourth Annual City of Roswell Holiday Decorating Contest brought out an enthusiastic group of competitors in Roswell this year with over 30 entries into the contest. A panel of volunteer judges spent nearly eight hours evaluating the designs of homes, businesses and subdivision entrances until a final verdict was decided upon.
Winners for the Fourth Annual Holiday Decorating Contest are as follows:
Business

4. Pastis Restaurant & Bar, 936 Canton Street
Subdivision Entrance
1. Sentinel on the River, Eves Road at Sentenae Chase Drive
2. Northcliff Trace, 1205 Northcliff Trace
3. Willow Springs Homeowner's Association, 2400 Old Alabama Road
4. Summerhill Farm Subdivision, 430 Brook Circle
Residential

Prizes for each category include: first place $250, second place $150, third place $75 and fourth place $25. All winners will be recognized during the January 3, 2007 City Council meeting.
"We are very pleased with the participation this year," explains Laura Sidelinger, Special Events Coordinator. "Our judges have made suggestions on new categories for next year, so we hope to more than double the amount of participants in 2007."
