"I am disappointed that an adult entertainment business has chosen to open its doors in contempt of a court order and in outright defiance of the will of the citizens of this community," said Bodker.
An adult book store has opened within Johns Creek city limits, despite Fulton County's denial of the owner's application for a business license and a federal judge's order supporting the county in the denial pending further court action. The store is located directly across the street from a private dance academy catering to hundreds of young girls and less than 600 yards from a residential neighborhood.
"It is my belief that this community will stand together and support every legal effort to protect our homes, our businesses and our children from the negative effects of these sexually oriented businesses," said Bodker. "At this meeting I am looking forward to introducing the outstanding legal team that has been working with the City since August in preparation for our joining Fulton County in protecting our community."
Chattahoochee High School is located at 5230 Taylor Road just off Jones Bridge Road in the City of Johns Creek. Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited.
