Keep Roswell Beautiful Honored

Roswell, GA (November 7, 2006)-Keep Roswell Beautiful (KRB) was awarded second place in the state of Georgia for their entire program in the Keep Georgia Beautiful Affiliate Awards Category, population 75,000 to 150,000. The KRB Board of Directors and staff were recognized at the November 6 Mayor and Council meeting.
KRB holds many events during the year that encourage Roswell residents and businesses to help with litter prevention, waste reduction and beautification. Rivers Alive, Great American Clean-up and Bring One for the Chipper are examples of the programs.
KRB is a 501(c)3 organization with an active Board of Directors. The board is comprised of citizens, students, business owners and educators who have an environmental interest in Roswell.
