Now it’s even more convenient to ride MARTA with the introduction of the Flexcar car-share program at the Arts Center and Midtown Stations. One Flexcar vehicle is parked in each station lot and is available for customers to reserve at an affordable hourly rate.
MARTA’s partnership with Flexcar offers customers an additional incentive to leave their cars behind and take transit. Customers can reserve a Flexcar when needed for errands, appointments or to reach wherever their final destination may be.

“MARTA is always looking for ways to enhance service to our customers as well as increase transit ridership,” said MARTA Deputy General Manager Jannet Thoms. “The Flexcar service makes it even easier to take MARTA by offering customers the convenient option to use a car when they may need it.”
Reservations can be made by calling Flexcar or visiting www.flexcar.com. The hourly rental rate covers gas, insurance, maintenance, 24/7 emergency assistance and reserved parking at various lots and decks throughout the city. Customers are issued an access card, which easily unlocks and locks the car. Flexcar currently has forty vehicles available at locations throughout Downtown and Midtown including Emory University and Georgia Tech.
