MARTA To Host Public Meetings On North Line Transit Oriented Development Study

MARTA will host two public meetings in Alpharetta on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, to provide an update on the North Line Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Study. Staff will be available to provide information and answer questions.

 

The North Line TOD Study was designed to evaluate and recommend locations along the GA 400 Corridor between North Springs Rail Station and Windward Parkway with the greatest potential for mixed-use, transit oriented developments. The study consists of seven focus areas. MARTA has received feedback from the public throughout the process, and all recommendations and comments will be presented to the MARTA Board of Directors for final approval.

The meetings will be held at the following locations.

 

Alpharetta Public Library - 11 a.m.

Reading Room

Alpharetta 30004

Georgia State University Alpharetta Center - 7:00 p.m.

Room 227

3705 Brookside Parkway

Alpharetta 30022
