Here are some pictures of the Holiday party for special needs kids sponsored by the North Fulton Optimist Club. The event was held at the Alpharetta Crabapple Government Center on Saturday, December 9.

Approximately two dozen kids were present to see a magician and receive a present from Santa. The North Fulton Optimist club has held this party for the past 5 years for kids who may not have the patience to wait in line at the mall to meet Santa and deliver their holiday wish list in person.

This Optimist club was formed in 2002 as a service club and advocate for special needs children and their parents. The club meets monthly at the Government Center on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

For more information, or to join the club's mailing list, go to the club's web site at www.nfoptimist.org.
